@SBKch @carrigmat Still a stretch to say its on par with o1 now that the shortcomings are slowly surfacing. Then again you’re depreciating the server hardware much quicker than the 30 months would give you value as you can never keep it current. And then; how often do you hit a usage limit?

@mbosschaart @carrigmat Except chatgpt o1 reasoning model access requires $200 plan, so it's only 30 months, you get usage quota, the model is censored, you can't use it for important data cause you'd have to send it to a 3rd party, and this setup can simultaneously run a bunch of other models.

@carrigmat Concurrent users? 1? Tad expensive no? $6000, not counting power costs, would get you 300 months, or roughly 25 years of subscription to ChatGPT, which becomes better over time and your hardware wont. But still cool to run it locally, no dispute there.
