@mbows23 @adambrid A manager once told me that there were two types of courage. One where you put your body on the line, the other where you put your foot on the ball and take risks to win games. A more humble occasion, but a 3-2 win at North Ferriby. Led to much greater things for that team.

There has to be a serious look at why England sit so deep after taking the lead in a high pressure game. The quality of the squad doesn’t align to that defensive mentality. Whilst I’ve been such a big fan of Tuchel, what’s actually different to Southgate’s approach vs Croatia/Italy/Spain? Gutted, but also frustrated at what feels like yet another missed opportunity.

OTD 8th July 1996, I started as an apprentice at #bcafc They ran the bollocks off us in Peel Park. I wanted to quit after the first week, but it turned in to the best 2 years of my life. 30 years ago! Scary!
