But as with any evolving society, I've noticed a slight shift over the years. While the warmth still shines brightly in towns like Tipperary and Clonakilty, Dublin seems to be experiencing a bit of a change. It most certainly will cause quite a lot of discrimination & I’m very concerned about what it’ll do to people with carers like me. Will people below tier 1 not be eligible for a carer? That could end up with thousands of carers losing their payments

I asked Taoiseach if he's seen 'I, Daniel Blake' because he's trying to replicate it here with proposal for three tiers of disability allowance based on capability to work. He said it's a very good film but it's one-sided, other side is shown by shows like 'Benefits Street'. 😲

@Thunder_Pox @IrelandPhysical @paulmurphy_TD Disability allowance allows for 19 hours a week work or education. It doesn’t force you into either because the current system seems to recognise that some, like myself, can’t do either. It’s not a perfect system but it’s better than what they’re proposing
