Before Christmas we were part of a group of Organisations who came together to call on Government to introduce emergency measures to combat the poverty people faced coming into Christmas. We heard from a young man living with his Disabilty who has to visit a food bank twice a week to feed himself. That’s the meaningful Christmas people with disabilities and carers face over this Christmas period. It is shameful that in ireland in 2025 that this is a fact of life for so many and its more shameful that those in power would reply with “Go to your local social welfare office to make a claim for a hardship emergency payment.” #MerryChristmas

It is absolutely surreal to hear employees of Fastway Couriers describing themselves as 'Franchise Couriers'. There is no such thing in law, they are employees, that's exactly what the Supreme Court ruled in Karshan just 2 years ago. It's @RevenueIE they should all be suing.
