It was a magic night for @katv157 under the lights Wednesday at the #DoaneNWUdual; she left the #DoaneTF record book in tatters again, lowering Sandrae Farquharson's previous 400-meter mark by nearly a second with a jaw-dropping :53.32… Kat's NAIA chart-leading time (current table shown below) took place in near-perfect conditions in a race that also saw teammate @TaniaGleason2 post a :56.07 debut that sent her to No. 10 on the national list. Fellow Tigers @kileyhejtmanek1 (:57.66) and @Jaydenmeyer2006 (:57.99) came within tiny fractions of their own personal bests. As of today, Vogt's 400 time stands at No. 64 on the U.S. all-college list for 2026. That Tiger quartet returned scarcely 90 minutes later to produce a winning 4x400 relay effort in 3:49.38, good for No. 5 on the '26 NAIA list and just a fraction off the automatic national meet qualifying standard. The Wednesday meet, moved up two days to avoid likely rain forecast for Friday of this week, took place just 48 hours after the Tigers competed in the postponed #ConcordiaInvite Monday. #DoaneTF swept the scored Wednesday meet, outscoring the Prairie Wolves 122-56 on the women's side while the men prevailed by a slim 93-86 margin. After two meets in a three-day span, the Tigers will have a full week to prepare for their lone home meet of the season, the #DutcherClassic, scheduled for April 16-18 at Lauritsen Track.
