@Miss_Angel_Baby Hi! Since we're on a single-track system, if trains are in the station, we can't proceed, which may cause train traffic. Thank you for your patience. ^SR

@TTChelps I forgot to add - thank god the TTC spent millions of dollars on automatic train control. Can’t imagine what service would be like without it.

@TTChelps Thank you for clarifying! Now I know that reduced speed zones means trains that don’t go any where.

@mccormack_cat Trains are currently stopped longer than usual due to train traffic, which is caused by reduced speed zones. Thank you for your patience. ^SR

@TTChelps what’s the delay causing a packed platform at Davisville station going south?

@TTChelps Does reduced speed zones including having trains stop at each station for a few minutes? Or is that something else?

@missterclean @DamianDC7 Thanks for the information. The speed SB from Eglinton to Davisville has been reduced to 25 km/h. Then reduced again SB from Bloor-Yonge to Wellesley to 15 km/h. We apologize for any inconvenience caused. ^FM

@TTChelps Hi there, is there an issue on Line 1 southbound? Train keeps stopping/moving very slow. Has taken 8 mins to go from Summerhill to Bloor-Yonge.

@nlguy65 @TTChelps That’s not true. I’m going south from Davisville to Dundas, and not only is the train moving slow, we seem to be hanging around at each station. Power came back on a few hours ago.

@TTChelps once again on my way on Line 1 and going to be late. Is it too much to ask to be on time? Trains holding at almost every stop.

@GOtransitLW is this right? No service between Aldershot-Union this weekend so riders have to go Aldershot>Bramlea>Union? Please tell me how that detour makes any sense.

@TTChelps 30 minutes to go from Union to Bloor is brutal. Why is service soooo bad?

@GOtransit Earlier when I tried planning a trip on the line, the website said no trip available. I know go transit isn’t the best at communicating to customers, hence my tweet to you.

Hi Catherine, Thanks for reaching out. According to the latest GO Transit Service Updates, the Lakeshore West line is showing “Good Service”, and there are no posted disruptions for this upcoming weekend. That means regular service is expected to run as scheduled. You can always double‑check the most up‑to‑date status here before you travel at gotransit.com/en/service-upd…. Please let us know if you need anything else. ^CK

@TTChelps Affected service? That’s it? Again, it took almost an hour to travel 7 subways stops.

@mccormack_cat Hi, there was a delay between Eglinton and Finch that affected service this evening. Service has resumed, but some residual delays remain. ^SR

@TTChelps so what’s the delay on line one? One train just completely bypassed St. Patrick station going northbound. No announcements.

@TTChelps Bloor Yonge :) I found the buses on my own but it would be helpful for employees to direct traffic towards the shuttles

i love exiting the train and finding ttc workers in their little cubicle instead of directing hundreds of confused people to the shuttle buses :) @TTChelps
