There are more child amputees in Gaza than anywhere else on earth, what Paul Givan does in his own time is for him, but for the department to be posting this when a few miles away dead children lay under rubble is shocking

I know this will be unpopular, but events like this are attended all the time by FM/dFM. They are all paid for by the public. They are official visits and do involve networking and are important. Yes £1,000 seems a lot, but in grand scheme of govt spend it’s insignificant
