Remembering Gregory Peck (1916 ‑ 2003) on his birthday!

On this day in 2022, Bjarni Tryggvason died. Born in 1945 in Iceland, he grew up in Vancouver. From Aug. 7 to 19, 1997, he was the payload specialist on STS-85 aboard the Space Shuttle Discovery. On Feb. 22, 2009, he flew a replica of the Silver Dart at Baddeck Bay, Nova Scotia.
