I don’t agree with him a lot, but @EwenDCameron is spot on here. Willie Collum as Head of Referees can’t continue - any other line of work he’d of been sacked. The referees aren’t good enough. There are inconsistencies every single week with offsides, handballs, penalties… it’s a shambles. This isn’t even a Rangers / Celtic issue for me, it’s Scottish football in general. Week after week the same bizarre decisions and mistakes, with the same cast of referees then rolled out the week after.

After journalists visited the Hamilton address linked to the vape shop company, the registered office of Junaid Retail Ltd was suddenly moved. Not to another business address. To a private flat in Glasgow — which appears to be the residence of the current director, Ahsan Ali. That raises an interesting hypothetical. What if the mysterious “Arslan” reported to have bought the shop two weeks before the fire was actually “Ahsan” misheard? 🧵 The vape shop that burned was linked to Junaid Retail Ltd, incorporated in 2023. Directors: • Junaid Hussain (born 1997) • later Ahsan Ali (also born 1997) Originally the company’s registered office was: Unit 6/10 Regent Way, Hamilton That address sits inside a cluster of small retail companies that have appeared and disappeared over the years. Names appearing across that network include: • Mirza Sarwar • Muhammad Ahsan • Khalid Ali Several companies in that ecosystem have passed between those individuals. Example: Flying Stock Ltd Muhammad Ahsan ↓ Mirza Sarwar And another: Party Style & Card Ltd Khalid Ali ↓ Muhammad Ahsan ↓ Mirza Sarwar So businesses in this network clearly move between the same small group of people over time. Now add another detail. The age structure. Sarwar — born 1974 Muhammad Ahsan — born 1982 Hussain / Ali — born 1997 That forms a kind of three-tier ladder: Sarwar → Ahsan → Hussain / Ali If these people were connected in some way — family, extended family, or close community network — the structure would make sense. Senior operator ↓ mid-level operator running units ↓ younger directors forming new companies. Now bring the “Arslan” story back in. Reporting said the vape shop had been sold two weeks before the fire to a man named Arslan. But there is still: • no director named Arslan • no shareholder named Arslan • no company filing with that name linked to the shop. Now consider the possibility. Someone asks outside the shop: “Who owns it now?” The answer: “Ahsan.” Across accents that could easily become: Ahsan → Arsan → Arslan. The article prints: “Arslan bought the shop two weeks ago.” Meanwhile, the official records never change. The company remains: Junaid Retail Ltd And the director remains: Ahsan Ali. Then, after journalists start turning up at the Hamilton address, the company suddenly moves its registered office to Ahsan Ali’s residential flat in Glasgow. Same company. Same director. New private address. If this hypothetical were true, it would explain several things at once: • why “Arslan” has no corporate footprint • why the company ownership never changed • why the Hamilton retail network keeps appearing in the background • and why the registered office suddenly moved after media attention. And in some ways that makes the situation even murkier. Because instead of one isolated shop, the vape store would sit inside a wider ecosystem of small retail businesses repeatedly appearing and dissolving across the same Hamilton and East Kilbride units. Same addresses. Different companies. Different directors. Same cluster. If that’s the case, the question isn’t just who owned the vape shop. It’s who actually operates this wider retail network. The Union Street fire story gets worse and worse. -shop was run by Pakistani nationals -did not have a legal licence to sell vapes, were not even registered -owed £10k of business rates from last year (council sent bailiffs after me for being 3 weeks late on a £2k payment.) -the shop was sold to a new owner only 2 weeks ago -fire was apparently caused by an overloaded vape charging station. They most likely had multiple extensions plugged into the one socket. -Allegedy a woman had rented a room for her business upstairs and was due to open for her very first day of business literally the next day -foreign scammers are already setting up fake gofundme's to try and scam locals who want to donate to help the business owners.
