Road To Recovery cont. Nicola and her superb nursing team greeted me in Renal with warm smiles then took usual tests prior to meeting consultants Dr Tom Cairns and Prof Liz Lightstone. I was far gone. Despite this, they didn't give up on me. So was determined to do them proud

Road To(Lupus) recovery cont After short test Dr Fink told me sadly "It's your kidneys" and rushed me into A&E. Protein levels so low miracle I was still alive. Dr Loucaido arranged biopsy at Hammersmith Hospital. Lupus the cause finally discovered. First fragile step on road
