The ones who don't panic when it looks bad. The ones who double down when others would fold. That's how you get through the J-curve in venture.

people who are truly confident in their ability to do deep fundamental analysis don’t spread themselves thin overdiversification is often a sign of low conviction in ur analysis. If u actually know how to identify winners, u concentrate ur capital into highest conviction plays

i swear gooning nerfs your ability to make money, it literally lowers your reaction speed, you miss entries, you move with no urgency, you sell too early or bag hold too long, you cant lock in for long periods before feeling tired, you miss obvious narratives, you lose confidence in your own edge, so you sit there and watch your own plays print without you

In my 4 years on CT the biggest takeaway I have is that the worst people make the most money here And that’s because crypto is the perfect space for shitty people to get away with nearly anything Decentralized is cool for a lot of things but it allows scamming, bundling, mass deploying, etc you name it There are no guardrails so if you’re a shit person and you want to make money through some frankly illegal ways in a more regulated setting, you can do it And people sure do it
