Our 2yo, Skipped a Beat, got his gate card this morning! They’ll get another work in later next week and start looking for a race! Very excited for how he’s been coming along. They’ve been going slow with the babies and he’s really been thriving. #adventuresinracing

Took Nora to meet the newest of our #feistyfillies today and she loved being at the farm. She wanted to boop the filly’s nose, but Velva’s head being as big as her was a little intimidating 😂

I visited the Horse Park 17 years ago. It was 3 weeks after the incredible John Henry had been euthanized (but I’d seen him several years before). Da Hoss (red boots) and Cigar were still around. When I see the math on how long ago these memories were, I feel old 😂👵🏻

Anyone who thought Parx would get this back in an acceptable condition just a few weeks after being shut down by HISA is being intellectually dishonest with themselves. The horsemen, local and otherwise, who opted to run on this gave track management every signal not to fix it.

It’s been well-documented for a long time how awful this course is. It’s malpractice that trainers and owners, including this winning trainer, let their horses compete over it. Yes, Parx is disgraceful for having a course like this. But that’s not lone disgraceful aspect of this

Somethings are just in the genes…she’s clearly already an animal lover. She was so sweet with the dogs and petting kindly (with extremely close supervision).
Now we just need her to not sleep through a visit to mom’s horses!
