Why is every dentist adamant that EVERYONE’S wisdom teeth need to come out?
Who still has their wisdom teeth and no problems? I’m going to show this thread to a friend.
@socialiststeve6 No. I think anyone who actually looks at any of this in good faith would acknowledge that he was trying to avoid the objectively worse option that Trump is and it didn’t work. Maybe we could have a little nuance idk.
@ADioumaev@Papapishu This sounds like such good advice on how to loose. How much further right can a supposedly Democrat party get than a Dick Cheney endorsement….
@Papapishu This is nonsense
Hardcore republican voters vote republican, hardcore democrats vote democrat - SO WHAT?
It's the "politically homeless" voter that chooses the president, and that person IS NO LIBERAL
Swing center right or perish. They did NOT swing center right far enough.
Bill Clinton really went to Michigan — where there are 400,000 Muslim and Arab voters — and said Jews were in the land before Islam existed.
As if that matters when we’re talking about over a year of genocide on top of decades of occupation.
@lawrev86@blagojevism Many. Happy? That’s not what this is about and that’s not why we lost. We need to do real self reflection on our party if we want to remain viable, no way around it.
Genuinely curious what's going to happen when a society that buys everything from Amazon, Walmart, and Temu realizes what a 60% tariff on Chinese goods looks like.
@DiscordianKitty That doesn’t mean sacrifice women’s issues, or abortion rights (which some voted to protect in their states while also voting for Trump). But I think what issues we spend the most time discussing and the way we talk about these results as a party will matter for next time.
@DiscordianKitty I think populist messages in general are popular with the electorate right now, regardless of how deep those messages even run. Focusing on economic inequality is our best chance. Sanders platform polled better with men.
@vanillaopinions We NEED a fresh face. For better or worse she is now associated with Biden and a failed election campaign. If you want to win, we need an open primary.
@Krishan_A_Patel@PopBase It’s not a matter of left or right. Populism, even if it’s just a shiny veneer of populism over the top, seems to be the winning message.
Bernie Sanders criticises the Democratic Party following Donald Trump’s win:
“It should come as no great surprise that a Democratic Party which has abandoned working class people would find that the working class has abandoned them.”
@GabrielleCole__@starheal Sure there’s some women who regret not having children or frankly just couldn’t - explain to me how dismissing them all and acting as though their opinions count for nothing helps with that? Also not every woman feels exactly the same way.
