The Supreme Court’s daycare ruling isn't a judicial error; it’s the inevitable result of a document that is fundamentally self-contradictory. The Canadian Charter of Rights is a farce that pretends to protect individual freedom while actually providing the state a roadmap for forced provision. By blurring the line between actual rights—which restrict government power—and state-mandated entitlements, the Charter has turned the taxpayer into a servant of the bureaucracy. This ruling confirms that in Canada, your 'rights' end where another person’s 'needs' begin. Any document that treats the labor of its citizens as a communal trough for anyone who arrives is not a charter of limits; it is a charter of servitud

If unproven asylum claimants and other non-citizens can access every benefit, privilege, and entitlement afforded to Canadians, the value of Canadian citizenship is fundamentally undermined. Every social welfare program, like daycare, presupposes a boundary between those who qualify and those who do not. However, the Supreme Court of Canada seems determined to dissolve that barrier. What follows? Will the right to vote be extended to non-citizens via judicial fiat? @EABeauregard's latest for @WDiminishment should get you all fired up for the week! withoutdiminishment.com/publish/post/1…

Time to post my annual “how artificially compressed are British wages”; 2025 edition. This is due to rising minimum wage and a 50k+ p/a tax bracket that runs to 40% of earnings, and hasn’t adjusted for inflation. As Kuan Yew suggests; artificial wage compression has turned everyone in Britain into low productivity tax cattle - you have zero incentive to become anything other here. Telecoms are close to the root of what plagues Canada. They can’t compete so they lobby for regulatory protection. They own media which aides their lobbying and now the general government subsidizes the media companies. It’s positive feedback loop that feeds off Canadians.

Canadians pay so much for wireless, internet and cable that Rogers (1 of 3 major carriers in Canada) has purchased 100% of the Toronto Blue Jays and 75% of the Toronto Maple Leafs (NHL), Toronto Raptors (NBA), Toronto Argonauts (CFL), Toronto FC (MLS) and Scotiabank Arena

I don’t know how Canada’s justice minister can say this with a straight face. I have never seen our Charter rights under greater and more relentless threat, than under this Liberal government. It’s just constant gaslighting from our elites in this country.
Sean Fraser@SeanFraserMP

The Canadian Charter of Rights & Freedoms turns 44 today! 🇨🇦 It protects the essential rights that make our society free & democratic. At a time when these values are under threat worldwide, Canada will stand up to protect the Charter & the rights it guarantees for everyone. ⚖️

🚨JUST IN: The Michigan man charged with manslaughter for fatally shooting one of the “teens” he caught breaking into his garage has been bound over for trial This is INSANE... his property had been broken into twice before this incident, and police IGNORED HIM AND TOLD HIM TO GET BETTER SECURITY Now Judge Kelly Kostin said Dayton Knapton, 24, put himself in the situation despite prior break-ins at his property She said his self-defense argument “becomes more difficult” after reviewing security video Knapton is charged with manslaughter, assault with intent to murder, and weapons offenses after a shooting that killed a 17-year-old and injured another Police say he saw several people entering his garage on camera, went outside, and opened fire as they were leaving The garage had been broken into at least twice before, and Knapton had been told after the second break-in to “beef up” his security

During the 1948 War, Arabs tried to starve 100,000 Jews to death in Jerusalem; and they bragged about “strangling” the city. By March 1948 - exactly as I laid out yesterday - the Arabs were winning the “battle for the roads.” They cut the only highway from Tel Aviv, blew the water pipeline, and ambushed every relief convoy. Jewish Jerusalem was on the verge of literal starvation with little food and only rationed rain water from ancient cisterns. Arab military leaders (local irregulars stiffened by Iraqi troops and the British-commanded Arab Legion) made their goal crystal clear: isolate and “strangle” the Jewish civilians until they died of starvation or surrendered. By June, the weekly ration per person was 100g wheat, 100g beans, 40g cheese, 100g coffee or powdered milk, 160g bread per day, 50g margarine, and one or two eggs only for the sick. People lost an average of 5kg. The dead lay in the streets. Again, notice the similarities between what they did and that of which they accuse Israel today. This was a deliberate starvation campaign by Arabs against Jews. Yet the same voices who screamed “famine in Gaza” (when no famine ever occurred) have nothing to say about the actual starvation campaign against Jerusalem’s Jews. After the Old City fell on May 28, Jordan ethnically cleansed the city’s ancient Jewish community, and further ethnically cleansed every last Jew from Judea and Samaria (renamed the “West Bank” for the first time in history two years later when Jordan illegally annexed the territory). But the Jordanians did more than just expel the surviving Jews, they destroyed the Old City’s 58 synagogues, turned holy sites into stables and latrines, and boasted: “For the first time in 1,000 years not a single Jew remains in the Jewish Quarter.” The inversion never stops. Go ahead and drop some other examples of inversion in the anti-Israel narrative below.
Captain Allen@CptAllenHistory

This day (April 16) in 1948, the British withdrew from Safed & 100s of Arabs immediately attacked the city’s ancient Jewish community. The Arab commander cabled the Arab Liberation Army: “Our morale is very high, the young people are enthusiastic, we’re going to massacre them." The outnumbered Jews chose to stay and fight rather than flee; and, along with a small garrison of Haganah fighters, they managed to repel the attack. The Arab assault was part of the “civil war” portion of the 1948 War that was launched the moment the UN voted to partition Mandate Palestine into a Jewish state and an Arab state on November 29, 1947. From day one, the Arabs rejected any Jewish state on any part of the Land. In fact, on this same day (April 16, 1948), as Arab armies massed on the borders to invade the day the British Mandate ended, Jamal Husseini - acting chairman of the Arab Higher Committee - told the UN Security Council: “The representative of the Jewish Agency told us yesterday that they were not the attackers, that the Arabs had begun the fighting. We did not deny this. We told the whole world that we were going to fight.” And “fight” they did. The Arabs answered the UN vote with immediate terror: buses ambushed, passengers shot, the Jewish market in Jerusalem stormed with Arabs armed with knives and axes, entire convoys wiped out on the roads with no prisoners taken and corpses mutilated. Jewish civilians were dying at a rate of more than fifty per week. By March 1948, the Arabs were winning the “battle for the roads” and had the Jewish population on the verge of strangulation and, in Jewish Jerusalem, starvation. This is where the wildly misunderstood Plan Dalet came into effect. It was a desperate military counter-offensive to reopen supply lines and prevent total annihilation. It was never a “blueprint for expulsion” as propagandists like to claim. The real ethnic cleansing intent came expressly and proudly from the Arabs whose war cry was literally: Itbah al Yahoud! — “Slaughter the Jews!” On May 14, 1948, Israel declared independence. The next day, five Arab armies invaded with the explicit goal of wiping the Jewish state off the map before it could even breathe. They failed. That failure is what Arabs originally called the "Nakba" — “the catastrophe.” Its original use had exactly nothing to do with “refugees,” but was meant to give a word to the humiliating Arab failure to destroy the wildly outnumbered Jews and prevent Israel from being born. In reality, the vast majority of local Arabs fled before Israeli forces arrived, urged on by their own leaders who promised a quick victory and return. Those who stayed, by the way, became full citizens of Israel with equal rights; and they make up more than 20% of Israel's population today. Perhaps most importantly, there would NEVER have been a single refugee had the Arabs accepted the UN partition and/or chosen not to invade with genocidal intent. Like so many anti-Israel narratives that reverse cause and effect today, the “Nakba” narrative inverts aggressor and victim. It erases the fact that the Jews were fighting for survival against a war of annihilation explicitly declared by the Arabs from day one. What are some other ways cause and effect is reversed in modern anti-Israel discourse? Let me know your thoughts below.

A degenerate liberal Canadian woman was chatting with my wife who was telling her that I was currently at @umdeclaration. The woman was writhing in disgusted horror that we would want to be in the United States. According to this gargantuan hysteric imbecile, the US was indistinguishable from the worst regimes imaginable. I hear this from innumerable liberal Canadians. Imagine being so parasitized as to think this of the United States. I'm Canadian and I proudly proclaim that the US is the greatest country in the history of humanity.

@GadSaad Wild. My French teacher today just compared the US to the IRGC. Trump to the Ayatollah. She was dead serious. I was in shock. Liberal women, and France is full of them (she was radicalized further during her 10yrs in Australia evidently)..

She was my very first colorectal cancer patient 5 years ago, who received dual immunotherapy despite her tumor not primarily classifying for immunotherapy. Her cancer had spread to the lungs without any options to perform surgery. She had gone through various cycles of chemo with no meaningful effect in the end. But her tumor showed a high reading of another marker called TMB - tumor mutational burden. ✅ After 3 cycles of immunotherapy all the lung metastases were gone and she remains with no evidence of disease until today. A tremendous success story of modern personalized oncology.
