📍SENATOR RESIGNED BECAUSE OF #COVID—Senator Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-OK) now admit that one reason he resigned from the Senate - was health troubles caused by #LongCovid. "Five or six others" in Congress have the same problem, @JimInhofe says. Wow. tulsaworld.com/news/state-and…

Validate #LongCovid sufferers—don’t ignore them. “There gonna look normal on the outside” “They look fine, there not fine, believe them. They are the experts of their own illness” “This is a real disease” “You need to stay rested” Thanks @WesElyMD 🙏

Finding patterns in the chaos of #LongCovid... We surveyed 5,652 people with Long Covid (most never hospitalized with acute disease) and allowed them to chart their symptoms over time. ---> Onset of symptom clusters happened in a predictable fashion. nature.com/articles/s4159…

Searching for clues beyond the EHR's... "This study provides new information that points to a distinct and statistically significant pattern of PASC symptoms based on symptom type and symptom onset originally derived from unstructured patient reports."

Who was at risk for #LongCovid? Just about everyone. "Initial COVID-19 symptom presentation varies; however, the development of PASC appears to be independent of COVID-19 symptom presentation, severity, or the presence of pre-morbid (pre-existing) health conditions."
