"Under the War Powers Act of 1973, the administration must notify Congress within 48 hours of introducing troops into a conflict. Secretary of State Rubio did that," Congressional correspondent @LisaDNews said. "Now, the War Powers Act also says that presidents can only continue that conflict for 60 to 90 days. However, most presidents have ignored the War Powers Act," Desjardins added.
