Here’s my first attempt at presenting to a public PowerShell user group. I have some ideas of how I’d like to further develop this talk and am so grateful for this opportunity to share while I learn!

I wrote a PowerShellRun version of Show-Object to inspect objects interactively without leaving the terminal or keyboard. github.com/mdgrs-mei/Powe… It's like Show-ObjectTree but you focus on one layer at a time and go down/up the hierarchy with a key press.

@dfinke I mean for the scope of the module, PowerShellRun is not going in that direction. It needs to be another module😉

@dfinke I guess you called me! My module focused on the filtering and is not designed to be a TUI builder. I implemented color and style handling there though. The wrapper for Spectle might be the way so far as in the other replies.

@jandedobbeleer @Windows Nice! I like that feature too as it also shows the progress bar on the taskbar icon.

Now that I’m playing with @Windows Terminal and exploring its features, I’m going to see if I can implement the tab progress bar when downloading and installing fonts. Why? Because I think I can. And it’s cool.
