I’ll say it… I have no clue who George Gervin is or was in regard to basketball. 🏀 I’m not the biggest NBA fan but I’ve never even heard of him before all of this “Iceman” nonsense. Not sure why the uproar in regards to Caleb Williams attempting to make a business decision that it sounds like Gervin should have attempted before. Williams, his family and his business team owe nothing to Gervin. Go get your paper if you can!

I don’t apologize for not knowing about a player whose prime was in the 70s when I was born in the early 80s and I didn’t start watching the NBA until like 1988. A sport I played one season recreationally.

I really respect this group for trying to reform the GOP.
But every now and again they attempt some false equivalency to justify remaining Republicans and suggest that the Dems are as big a threat to democracy.

In light of that reality, these No Kings protests are false demonstrations of counter-autocratic conviction. They are fundamentally anti-personality, and offer no suggested reform to the office of the presidency itself to meaningfully address the office they claim amounts to a "kingship" in the hands of Donald Trump. Far too many of the people involved in these No Kings protests have demonstrated they have no problems with the existing power of the Presidency in the hands of a Democrat.
