@Batrachian393 Yeah, we went from the Thing that emerged from Kathy's back to a ridiculous puppet in pt 2, the design of the demons is cheaper looking, nothing in pt 2 comes close to the motorbike/katana/helicopter finale. Also Dario wanted a happy ending, so it just ends.

@mdsmith101 I too pick Demons over its sequel. It’s funny, though, because I remember watching part 2 more when I was a kid. Probably was just on TV more often. I enjoy the setting of Demons more. It’s definitely nastier, too. I think it’s written better and acted better as well.

So I rewatched Demons 2 (1986) just a few nights ago. It had been a long time since I watched it last. I rewatched Demons late last year. Both of these movies were somewhat staples in my revolving door of horror movies. I always remember the demon coming through the TV. And I never forgot these covers. Which one is the better one for you guys? I’m going with Demons. #Horror #HorrorCommunity

@leebowski1223 As I vaguely recall Fox hated this movie, until it made 100 million at the box office that is. They didn't like Keanu's hair at all, didn't want Bullock, I think it sat on a shelf for a while too before being dumped into cinemas and it became a sleeper hit.

Speed (1994) One of the greatest action/thrillers ever made. First class cast with a great script from Graham Yost and slick direction from debut director Jan DeBont, starts at a 100mph and just keeps going, keeping you on the edge of your seat for the entire runtime. Classic👍🏻

Halloween III: Season of the Witch (1982). Directed by Tommy Lee Wallace. After Daniel shouts "STOP IT!" on the phone at the movie's very ending, the screen cuts to black and then the ending credits. Originally, the ending theme wasn't going to be played during the credits. Instead, it was supposed to be the screams of millions of children being murdered. Director Tommy Lee Wallace decided not to add this, so the ending could be ambiguous and add a possibility that they were saved. When lead actor Tom Atkins saw this new ending, he was much more satisfied with the movie (in spite of critical reception) and likes to imagine his characters struggles weren't in vain, or his own children at the very least survived. Had a scare with Velvet this week. She started choking and collapsed for a second. She's fine again but what a scare. I know she's 14 and it can happen any day. Going to appreciate every moment I have left with her

@leebowski1223 Shame we never got a directors cut, due to censorship the biggest, bloodiest shootout at Bucho's compound was completely cut.

The Tarasco Bar shootout in Desperado (1995) is a gloriously over the top John Woo/Sam Peckinpah inspired action setpiece. Banderas commands the screen as he takes out a horde of heavily armed bad guys to the stylish, direction and editing of Robert Rodriguez. So good

My birthday is in a little over a month. Not really in the mood to celebrate this year. Think I'll just hang with the cat and watch movies. Finances are too tight this year to do anything fun lol. Hoping things will get better soon. Fingers crossed
