@quxiaoyin @lovable @heybossAI Congratulations @quxiaoyin !!! No one is going to slow you down! I’ve been waiting for a product like @heybossAI
English

Dear @lovable, if you can’t beat @heybossAI in product, just work harder! Instead you try to pull loser move like this:
our domain is:heyboss.xyz. you register heyboss.dev and point people to lovable.
We know your product doesn’t work for non-coders. We know it takes people many tries and still doesn't connect to openai api. We know your product is buggy to use as hell. We know you are expensive and the product you generate looks ugly. I didn’t want to mention that when people asked me about the difference between Lovable and Heyboss.xyz because we believe in fair play and let people be the judge.
Heyboss.xyz is here to empower winners and we will not engaged in the same loser moves as you. Rather than spending time trying to play domain nasty moves, why don’t you focus on improving your product?
Dear @lovable , we know if you have to pull such nasty move 1 day after our launch, we have already won.
To winners, Heyboss.xyz is here for you to win!

@quxiaoyin @heybossAI @Stanford Looks like heyboss.xyz has been copied and will be published with the new the domain heyboss.dev and redirected to lovable.dev not sure who did this. Wild behavior

@TechCrunch Clicked through and landed on this. Why is the nav bar blocking out her face? And pop up blocking out headline

@amybue So much truth here. A lot of people don’t understand this yet. I didn’t fully for a long time. Healing takes courage and faith. Reminders that you’re not alone, you’re not crazy to believe that there is more available, and it’s worth fighting for… these are the lifelines✨
English

I carry an old fear that holds me back in relationships because it tells me if I’m honest and vulnerable, I’ll lose that person and be left alone.
The truth is I already am alone and will stay that way as long as I believe my fear and follow its instructions to hide my true ideas, needs, dreams, and feelings. I have to keep reminding myself that I couldn’t possibly be left in a worse position by moving beyond my fear to be vulnerable and open. I have to keep remembering that the upside chance of sharing is that the person hears and meets me. And that I feel connected (and maybe cherished) instead of alone.
All of this reminds me that healing is no joke. It’s not for the weak willed or faint of heart. To heal means to challenge the grittiest, gnarliest, most terrifying experiences that we have taken into our bodies from previous generations who have needed these patterns to survive. Healing means confronting that one way we’ve been wired to survive.. doesn’t result in the life we desire. It means taking off an oxygen mask when you’re already in the air, and allowing yourself to relax into the knowing that you never needed it in the first place. Others did. But not you. And not me either.

@immad I've done some thinking on paralysis.. and its cousin, reactivity. Both are common failure modes in addition to fear/avoidance you've named here. thefoundercoach.com/the-user-manua…
English

One of the biggest mistakes an entrepreneur can make early on is getting lost in paralysis.
Some people get stuck in ideas. They jump from idea to idea, holding out until they land on the perfect one. But they never actually build anything.
Other people get stuck in preparation. They spend their energy going to events, coming up with complicated business plans, or meeting with branding experts to get the narrative right.
Others get stuck in their own siloes. They’re afraid someone will take their ideas and run, so they don’t talk to anyone. But without getting outside feedback, they miss opportunities to improve.
Startups are all about momentum. You need to be continuously moving forward.
Stop spending time on the things that are adjacent to the one thing that matters.

@maiab I missed the epidural window with my second and ended up getting nitrous oxide for the delivery and stitches. It’s quick activity and very safe, worth asking your doc about

@bgurley How is consumer/retail split from D2C? Isn’t Rothy’s D2C? And Harry’s for example? And why is Houzz in D2C?

The most shocking thing to me is the length of the list! Anyone have a way to hazard a guess at the average “raise” across the list? Curious how much total capital is allocated to this group.
Paul Graham@paulg
The striking thing about this list, to me, is the preponderance of software companies. Making physical stuff is hard. But don't let that deter you, if that's what you're interested in. If things go right for Helion, it could be the biggest of the lot.

@maiab Career-wise I have a standing session with a friend where we support each other in our processes, whatever that means atm (brainstorm, challenge, explore, etc) and that’s helped provide structure, connection and sense of progress
English

@maiab I’m in a similar spot! I’m trying to “trust the universe” and follow what comes up. It’s taken me some cool places in the past year!
English

@maiab 😂😂😂 this is absurd. One thing that did sometimes work for me was playing “music together” on Spotify. I don’t know what they do in those songs but it was like magic fairy dust for them
English

@maiab Ask for exactly what you want from everyone. Take advantage of all the support you have. WFH with a newborn (with childcare support) is wonderful 🥰

In 2020, @michael_nielsen & I began a 2-month project to write: "how would we fund science?"
2 years & 40,000 words later, it's become: "how can the culture & institutions of science actually change, and ultimately become self-improving?"

Today, AI systems can create stunning art & beat humans at chess & Go. But they can't do things a 3-year-old can do. Why?
