Haven't felt this sick about an Irish soccer team since after penalties against Spain in 2002. When we had to go to Nowlan Park to lose a replay to Offaly and no one cared.
Come after me over and over all you want. Decades listening to whiny shite in politics and sport from th fighting Irish. But what is it about Irish culture that excudes fucking losing attitude.
I know about it and got abuse about it in Kildare for years for pointing it out. You can small the fucking fear and weakness and running from winning.
2-0 against a shambles of a team that can't compete and pray for fucking penalties. And the manager got a pre-game taxpayer paid contract.
Abuse, abuse, abuse.
I'm tired of fucking spineless losers.
Paid well.
Indeed this team is the perfect national team.
If so, what are you sad about.

@meano95 @Cheltenham2006 @EwanMacKenna Should never have been allowed to take a penalty in either. That’s my point.

There can’t be much between maghaberry prison and @STN_Airport airport in terms of hospitality

@MissRammie @RyderCupEurope @RyderCupUSA That’s good, maybe Europe shouldn’t have picked him just like USA shouldn’t have picked half of their current players.
If he can’t make a pressure shot with the crowd against him he is not the guy.
English

This American crowd are a disgrace to golf. Shouting just as Macintyre gets to the top of his backswing & the booing during @RyderCupEurope 1st tee shots is utterly classless & completely against golf spirit. @RyderCupUSA sort your fans out.

@SkyNews @WilfredFrost @MTSavill @rusi Can't wait to see how much coverage and furore this generates on Sky News compared to an actual bombing in Qatar yesterday

@MrTaytoNI you have removed flavouring from your pickled onion crisps. Please take remedial action

@meano95 Obsession with fairness and equality* dedicated facilities satisfies equality duty while also ensuring no net less through a reworked booking system. Just call for an end to bigotry and build public GAA facilities. Easy done.
English

@smccourt1992 What is the obsession with dedicated? If GAA opportunities are satisfied at the same level as other opportunities are satisfied through a fair and transparent booking system, then more multi-use should be built. Send link to evidence docs too id genuinely like to read it
English

@meano95 There is an issue there. The resolution is to level the playing field and give access to dedicated facilities, like all other sports. That addressed the facility need with no upheaval, displacement or net loss.
English

@smccourt1992 I’m not saying there needs to be more cricket pitches
English

@meano95 There is no evidenced need for cricket pitches in the same borough. The current pitches, along with private pitches, analyzed against micro playing numbers means there is a surplus.
English

@smccourt1992 But if the evidence shows that GAA clubs don’t get to use multi-use areas, how can you not have an issue there? It should be split evenly and then the need could be solved without building more pitches.
Some sports aren’t fit for multi-use so no point using them in analysis
English

@meano95 No. My issue is with the infrastructure that currently exists, as it doesn’t support the evidenced needs of the GAA community. If soccer, rugby, cricket and hockey can have dedicated public facilities then it is fair to expect the same level of access & infrastructure.
English

@smccourt1992 Then like I said, your problem is with why they don’t get access to multi-use pitches, not with the pitch infrastructure that already exists. In my opinion, pitch access should be split evenly across all sports and once that is complete, start development of appropriate facility
English

@meano95 That’s it yes, the evidence shows GAA clubs don’t get access to multi-use pitches so the solution is to build more multi-use pitches. Nevermind that soccer, rugby, cricket and hockey all have dedicated facilities in the same borough.
English

@smccourt1992 What does the evidence show in terms of allocation of bookings? Then you would look to development of more multi-use until the need is filled.
How many times have clubs from any sport tried to make a booking and been denied?
Is it an access issue due to location of pitches?
English

@meano95 The evidence shows that multi-use pitches haven’t/don’t satisfy the need.
