Day 2 of Bombers practice. Looks like it’ll be another day of limited action for QB Zach Collaros. He’s playing safety for the simulated Redblacks D as the offence runs through plays.

@ravira @ba_split His speed and agility are well below what they used to be. He can’t make plays outside the pocket anymore. De’s are running him down.

@ba_split I am not sure I buy that it's the knee injury that's hampering him. He wasn't great last year before that injury and his speed and mobility this year seem pretty damn good to me. His passing is atrocious though.

I would argue that Chris Streveler has regressed as a QB since his time in the NFL. He wasn't great in 2018-19, but he was better than this. #Bombers #CFL

@chrispronger @jtbourne USA hockey shared crazy statistics with us on this topic a lot of years ago at an in person coaching certification clinic. Pro athletes were significantly more likely to be multi-sport athletes into their teens.

Lot of this is the same in Canada, and other states. But it's also the same in other sports. "Experts" trying to drain parents of every possible penny for "the good of their kids" at every turn, I hate it so much.

@wally_walker @TSNDaveNaylor The CFLPA had to make a decision on where this money was being spent. That wasn’t know until today. And there is still some grey that needs to be clarified, so I’m not expecting an additional spending spree as a result anytime soon

some people assume that teams only found out about this today. this would put some of them at a disadvantage by not being able to offer players a certain $ amount during this negotiating window. i find that hard to believe. can @TSNDaveNaylor @FarhanLaljiTSN enlighten us? #CFL
