The Chiefs made one pick on Day 2, but will be back on the clock quickly on Day 3. There are plenty of talented players who can help Kansas City that remain available. buff.ly/9EoXH9j

@MarkAGunnels Love it! I’m a biased Sooner fan but he’s a clone of Bonitto (also a Sooner) with a completely different skill set than our other DEs. Pass rushing specialist with great bend and closing speed. I was hoping they would pick him but surprised they did given he’s not a Spags mold

@kingCanadian31 @hangarhockey He was the leading scorer for the President’s Trophy winning team last year. Playoff Scheifele is a monster. Jarvis was one of Canada’s weakest players at the 4Nation.

Sixteen different point getters for Team USA as it clinches rivalry series victory (3-0) over Canada with Game 4 Saturday Abbey Murphy 2 goals and 2 assists, Kelly Pannek 2 goals and an assist, Kendall Coyle Schofield goal and 2 assists. 8 goal scorers in 10-4 win (29 shots)

Kelce acting like a baby and picking a fight previous possession. Then dropping a pass. Then dropping another pass that led to a pick. Then acting like he was hurt. This is great entertainment.

Cam Echols with a ridiculous leaping sideline catch. Far side of the field so I’ll just assume it was in bounds. #Bombers

Day 2 of Bombers practice. Looks like it’ll be another day of limited action for QB Zach Collaros. He’s playing safety for the simulated Redblacks D as the offence runs through plays.

@ravira @ba_split His speed and agility are well below what they used to be. He can’t make plays outside the pocket anymore. De’s are running him down.

@ba_split I am not sure I buy that it's the knee injury that's hampering him. He wasn't great last year before that injury and his speed and mobility this year seem pretty damn good to me. His passing is atrocious though.

I would argue that Chris Streveler has regressed as a QB since his time in the NFL. He wasn't great in 2018-19, but he was better than this. #Bombers #CFL

@RealAlexD @_reavisisland That’s not how kids are taught to tackle. Chest to chest isn’t great form, in part bc it puts your head in play. I do agree it wasn’t dirty.

@_reavisisland You did everything right. No malicious intent, your head was up and initial contact was with the shoulder. 100% perfect hit and that's how they teach kids to tackle. Unfortunate injury, but absolutely not your fault. Keep ballin!

@_reavisisland I get the helmet to helmet contact, but there is nothing malicious or dirty about this hit. You got there as quickly as you could and made the play.

For those keeping score the Bombers have now diagnosed and let Collaros play with a "neck" injury and only shut down Schoen after he "re-injured" his already torn ACL. Top notch medical staff.

@DougBrown97 I wonder why the Bombers are like that. Signed Houston 2 weeks ago and still hasn’t played. Moore last week and didn’t play. Yet the Argos and Riders get Polk and Ajou like 4 days ago and they both suiting up this weekend

This Hellebuyck situation is something else and there is no easy answer. Could pulling him for a third straight tank his confidence/mental game for Game 7 more than just letting him play through a potentially bad third period? Unreal how much he struggles in the playoffs.

Lot of this is the same in Canada, and other states. But it's also the same in other sports. "Experts" trying to drain parents of every possible penny for "the good of their kids" at every turn, I hate it so much.

We spoke with NHL players, coaches, executives, agents, high school players and coaches, local and state hockey administrators, and independent analysts. What we found was heaps of passion and exasperation, and a dearth of ideas on how to change it. bostonglobe.com/2025/03/05/spo…

@wally_walker @TSNDaveNaylor The CFLPA had to make a decision on where this money was being spent. That wasn’t know until today. And there is still some grey that needs to be clarified, so I’m not expecting an additional spending spree as a result anytime soon

some people assume that teams only found out about this today. this would put some of them at a disadvantage by not being able to offer players a certain $ amount during this negotiating window. i find that hard to believe. can @TSNDaveNaylor @FarhanLaljiTSN enlighten us? #CFL

CFL teams will have more money to spend on bolstering their rosters in 2025. The league announced Wednesday that its salary cap this season has been set at just over $6.06 million: tsn.ca/cfl/cflpa-anno…
