@Arrowhead_Adam Many ways to win SBs. Personally coming off of knee surgery and being 31, I think it’s smart to emphasize defense and run game. It’s about time 15 gets supported so he doesn’t have to be Superman. He’s proven he can carry a team. Now it’s time to make it easier for him.

Mahomes was a coin flip away from making the Super Bowl with arguably the worst Chiefs defense maybe ever. He hasn’t needed dominant defenses to win championships either. So is this really necessary? Maybe they think it is. But it’s a fair question to ask.

Look, overall I do understand and even desire the need for a pass rusher that can win quickly. RMT can do that and wins in ways Chiefs have missed for years. It just concerns me that there will be questions about how much he plays and what his fit is in the defense.

R Mason Thomas being a Steve Spagnuolo rusher in the big 2026 was so far off the BINGO card.. But incredibly fun pick. Super explosive and really good at turning speed to power.

But giving up 74 in particular was a steep price. Love both guys but seems like Veach needs to find a way to get back into the 3rd round

Day 2 reminder: you’re allowed to not like a Chiefs draft pick. The draft is fun because everybody sees it differently. Getting condescending because someone doesn’t instantly talk themselves into every Chiefs pick is a lot weirder than just saying, “I don’t love that one.”

Schrager has the Chiefs doing the 9&29 for 12&20 swap with the Cowboys in his final mock. Rueben Bain and Omar Cooper. I’d have a hard time being upset with that haul. Schrager is usually the most accurate mock each year.
