A quick update on my son-in-law, Dan. For those who don’t know the backstory, he was paralyzed from the chest down when a schizophrenic man attacked him and my daughter while they were having dinner at a restaurant last February. A few days ago, one of their cats jumped into Dan’s lap, accidentally scratching Dan’s knee along the way.
