An algorithm filters out unpleasant frequencies and amplifies only the more “musical” sounds. Seeing so many videos claiming that new data centers are going to cause a climate and water crisis while leading to a centralized surveillance state—and not at all mentioning money and financial systems—are really something.

I don’t know why data centers have become this generations nuclear power. Unlike nuclear power, there is a 0% chance that a data center can lead to any sort of disaster scenario. This project in Utah is: - in an uninhabited area - bought and repurposed water already in use - is bringing its own power, so it won’t cost citizens anything It’s like being against building a nuclear power plant in the middle of Nevada, except there is no radioactive waste. No fall out. No risk of anything. It’s a big computer in the middle of nowhere, that is self sufficient in all resources. There are a million real problems in America. Data centers just aren’t one.

The vibe might have been in part a secret plan by Italian parmesan producers to increase the market’s appetite for ground parmesan products. “Seriously. Just put it in a shaker on the table and let them have as much as they want for free—at first. That’s how we get into their pantry..”

@parkeralewis I think this step can be avoided, if we push on a few key areas. Leaving debasement as the market value for natural transition.

Stablecoins are going to converge to 1 for this reason, the winner likely becomes a CBDC and why not just use bitcoin. Every bitcoin wallet is interoperable + every lightning wallet is interoperable, respectively. Common language of value. The network effect is real & compounds.

It's easy to think stablecoins will be popular, we enable them at @ZapriteApp (limited capacity), some customers value it. However, if you actually interact with them, it makes bitcoin's interoperability make so much more sense and also makes clear why money converges to one!
