@northernassist So. Basicly. Tough luck. If you HAVE to change journey times due to something beyond your control and you had the cheek to buy advance ticket because it was cheaper. It will end up costing a lot more.

@mechlass Thanks for clarifying, yes unfortunately that is correct. If you have an advance ticket and decide to change the time you wish to travel then you will be charged an admin fee sadly unless it is a fault of our own.

@northernassist Not happy. Having (not wanting) to change the time of outward journey. Was going to be charged an admin fee +new ticket for something beyond my control. Train 2 having no wheelchair spaces means I get penalised for having to change times.

@northernassist It's cross country that doesn't have any wheelchair spaces on their 10.15 service. It was changed to the 9.15 . Which is why I had to change the hornbeam train from 9.24 to 8.08. For which I was going to be charged an extra £20 in fees and tickets.

Ah ok, apologies. From your first message I thought you had travelled this morning due to you saying there were no wheelchair spaces. Please can you tell me how you know there are none tomorrow on the 0924 service? Or are you saying there are no wheelchair spaces on the Cross country service?

@mechlass Thanks, are you referring to the 0915 from Leeds to Sheffield? What train did you get on if you couldn't board the 0924 from Hornbeam Park please due to no wheelchair spaces?

@northernassist I was getting the 9.24 out of hornbeam. To catch the 10.15 leeds to Sheffield by cross country. They rung and we agreed to doing the 9.15 instead. Rung customer service and ended up cancelling tickets to purchase new ones. At no time was I told to just use ticket

@mechlass Hi Rhi, we are very sorry to hear that. Which train was this please? You would have been able to get another service. You wouldn't need to change the time on your ticket in this instance if you weren't able to board.

@hollywoodvamps Had a choice of 4 places (for a change) Scarborough (good outdoor venue), Manchester, Birmingham or Halifax. Went with Halifax as haven't been there yet. Rounds out our gig list for this year. Jethro tull, Foreigner and now Hollywood vampires. Cannot wait.

@VisitYork One of the problems of trying to shop at this time of year is the amount of stuff that shops are cramming in. It's extremely difficult for someone in a wheelchair or mobility aid to try and get to see and buy things. It's distressing when you're surrounded by a wall of things

@northernassist Someone should of mentioned this. Meaning the train crew. Could of been a nasty accident if someone had slipped. That platform isn’t that wide.

@MePeterNicholls Can you comment on why cars in this scheme should include full maintenance, road tax, servicing and insurance for three drivers when able bodied have to pay for all of these for a far far higher cost than the the charges? Also that cars over £40K have enhanced tax they avoid
