Fast forward 9 years later, & Luckin Coffee is acquiring Blue Bottle for just a touch less than the principal nestle invested. Prior to Nestle's acquisition, Blue Bottle had raised over $100m from the likes of Index Ventures, Google Ventures, and more. Philz Coffee & La Colombe Coffee Workshop also recently traded hands.
