Andrew Garfield shades J.K. Rowling while praising the artists that worked on the ‘Harry Potter’ films: “[Daniel Radcliffe] is really good in the ‘Harry Potter’ films, the films are really good. I know it’s controversial and we shouldn’t be putting money in the pocket of inhumane legislations right now, through… she who shall remain nameless, […] but there are so many beautiful artists that worked on those films.” (youtu.be/YtDD9nUvicA?si…)

Actor Andrew Garfield says J.K. Rowling is funding “inhumane legislation” against trans people while refusing to call her by her name. “She that shall remain nameless.”

Self-absorbed, snobby, and soaked in Hollywood groupthink. That is Andrew Garfield. I hope J.K. Rowling responds, because she tears apart people like this with ruthless clarity. They thrive on applause, not substance, and she does not let that slide.

Andrew Garfield says he recently watched the Harry Potter films for the first time, but added: “we shouldn’t be putting money in the pocket of inhumane legislation right now through she that shall remain nameless.”

@afneil You cannot take these labour policies in isolation. It all goes back to Brexit. And even if it didn't the fact that our youth can't go and take advantage of a more thriving jobs market in the EU is tragic.

For all of this century it’s always been easier for young folks to find work in the UK than in the EU, where youth unemployment rates were consistently higher than UK. It explains why so many young, educated, ambitious Europeans flocked to the UK to work, much to our mutual benefit. These days are over. Britain’s youth unemployment rate has risen above Europe’s for the first time: unemployment among 16 to 24-year-olds jumped to 15.3% in the three months to September, surpassing the EU’s rate of 15pc, according to the OECD. It marks the first time youth unemployment in Britain has been higher than in the bloc since records began in 2000. Labour policies — especially pushing up the minimum wage too much — are to blame. Even the Bank of England says minimum wage increases for pricing young people out of work. But raising national insurance contributions has also crippled many industries that employed young folks. Thanks Starmer-Reeves. Another fine success story.

@MarinaPurkiss Brexit. Get Global Trade Deals. Ok. Oh no not like that! The red hearing over the NI contributions from the right is exhausting.

People are just going to go for the easy option here and blame George Long. Yes, he’s not a good goalkeeper. This is Ben Knapper and Johannes Hoff Thorup fault. The recruitment is terrible, the organisation and the line up looks wrong. No faith in these leaders. #ncfc

@Raws_LFC Where does loyalty get you? Fair play to him and I get that for fans and that makes him a legend, and every club loves a legend but what does that get you? Flip it, he took the easy option.

What a lot of people fail to realize about Steven Gerrard is he could be amongst Xavi and Iniesta in terms of talent and ability for midfielders, but he chose loyalty over money, legacy, and fame. That’s why he will always be Liverpool’s skipper. x.com/RawsLFC96/stat…

@British_Airways cancelled my business class flight from Geneva to London on 21 March. I booked it solely to earn the 25 tier points needed and retain Silver status before 31 March. Now I’m £500 out of pocket after rebooking with EasyJet — as BA offered alternative 2 days later!

If ever there was one photo that substantiates how bad the referees of the English game are, here it is. The best referee in England apparently. Role model to grass roots. Right. ⁦@premierleague

Such a 💩 way for a title tilt to end albeit it was pure fantasy to think we could after Leicester game. Can’t stand Liverpool, never liked them. But we love Mo! We need a Mo! Can’t see any difference in Champs League either to be honest. Where are the goals coming from?

• Top of the Premier League. • Top of the Champions League. • Carabao Cup final. All in Arne Slot’s first 7 months. Do you know how crazy that is?
