Excited to share that I’m joining @Covalent_HQ. My focus is to build inference-driven products on top of Covalent’s low-latency, high-fidelity data layer. My thesis: The last major shift in computing was on-prem to cloud, which unlocked the SaaS wave. We’re now at the cusp of the next major shift: SaaS to inference-driven experiences. AI models are quickly becoming commoditized. Everyone can rent intelligence. So where does the real advantage come from? The data layer. Quality, latency, and reliability compound over time. Models are just the vehicle. Data drives the experience. That’s why Covalent made sense to me. @gane5h built the hardest part first — best-in-class data infrastructure. Now it’s time to build the products that make inference the default way people experience web3. Time to lock in.

Was a great conversation about how to look at the prediction market category and how it can evolve from here A major realization for me was that no one is talking about the application of these ideas in designing prediction market adjacent applications that can draw more people into the ecosystem. As Polymarket/Kalshi evolve and bettor edge starts eroding, people will need to start flocking to PM adjacent apps to generate comparable returns PS: Also, I'm sorry for anyone from Michigan that tuned in :)

I've been playing with a lot of DeFi agents lately. TBH, I would never trust any of these agents with the private keys to my main wallet. Mismanagement of funds, execute unauthorized trades, etc. Beyond DeFi agents, these agents have issues with generating inappropriate content, hallucinations and project injections. It's easy to jail break these LLMs. You are starting to see some of this with @aixbt_agent off late - looks like someone is poisoning the data. These issues undermine user trust and are barriers to main stream adoption. What a product spec would look like for an agent guardrails system? Thinking out aloud: 1️⃣ Deterministic checks like schema validation, RegEx patterns 2⃣ LLM-based evaluations: detecting gibberish, scanning for prompt injections, jail breaking 3⃣ Integration with minimal code changes 4⃣ Minimal latency, should not impact user experience 5⃣ Extensible with proprietary datasets without losing custody of that dataset using zkTLS 6⃣ Guardrails not just theoretical, but verifiable onchain. Every decision or restriction should be backed by auditable, immutable blockchain data. Obviously from @Covalent_HQ. AI agents are the future, but require the right guardrails to ensure trust, verifiability, and accurate data.
