Tirana welcomed an evening of remarkable artistry, as Ray Chen and Amsterdam Sinfonietta brought their virtuosity, sensitivity, and stage presence to the National Theatre of Opera and Ballet. 🎻 The concert gave the audience a rare live experience, shaped by precision, elegance, and the kind of energy that stays with you long after the final note. How do we tell Vincent van Gogh’s story to a new generation today? One way is through a graphic novel. 🎨 At the next FELT 2025 event, together with the Embassy of the Netherlands 🇳🇱, students from “Emin Duraku” school were introduced to the graphic novel “Vincent” by Barbara Stok. Through the discussion around the book, they followed Van Gogh’s life and art, his dreams, his paintings, and his special relationship with his brother, all told through illustrations and the rhythm of a visual narrative. Publisher Arlinda Dudaj and illustrator Endri Beqo showed how the figure of a 19th-century artist can be brought closer to children today through the graphic novel format – its colours, structure, and simple language. The children asked questions, shared their thoughts and what they already knew about Van Gogh, and discussed how art can be “read” not only in museums, but also on the pages of a book. 1/2
