Rain makes using phone screen challenging. Finally get through after needing to re-enter the 3 numbers on the back of my card twice. The same number. All for £1.20. For an hour and a half. I’m raging and full of hatred for @RingGo_parking who are quick to fine but hard to use.

@RingGo_parking after deleting twitter a while ago I’ve just logged back on to share what an absolute bin fire the RingGo app is. Can’t log in as I have a different car reg now. Choose to delete account to start afresh. Tells me I already have an account so I can’t. (1/2)

Enter my reg correctly as I’m stood by my car looking at the number plate only to be told it’s not recognised. What? Try with and without space. Give up. Phone the number. Takes forever. First card doesn’t work (definitely money in that account) so have to try another. (2/3)

@Evelyn_216 The book I read was set in England. I deduce that there was also a US version created as the writer is British ( Nottingham Uni, lives in London). Here are a few bits that I predict are different in the version that you read. (Buckinghamshire, Grammar School, A levels, Mum).

After having read all of A Good Girls Guide to Murder books, and now watching the Netflix/BBC show; I can say that I absolutely hate the show. It deviated so much from the book.

Forget the fact that it takes place in a whole different country,but just some scenes that were added to the show that don’t add anything to the plot!

@EmiGarside Yep. I hate that 🧵 just moved all my insta contacts over as that’s not who I follow on here and it’s awful. Pretty pictures ≠ good/funny/interesting words. Also have several accounts for work, various orgs and me. Such a lot of extra time to curate. Argh.

It feels worth saying that leaving Twitter IS a hard decision for those of us who have made a community here. For me it’s the place I found my people over and over. As well as a place I found a lot of work as a creative. It’s not “just” a social media platform.

@RaggedTP My career has been working for much smaller registered charities in the arts where no one has been paid anywhere near this but there is still a wage bill. Average mid career officer level jobs are paid only a couple of grand more than NMW so we lose talent to other sectors.
