Sometimes regulation begins with remembering the body was shaped in relationship with wind, water, light, texture, earth, and seasons. Not constant notifications and artificial urgency.

Your body is constantly adapting to the environments you spend the most time inside. Not only physically, but emotionally, cognitively, relationally, and neurologically. The nervous system is always listening to what your life keeps asking it to become.

Chronic stress can narrow the body’s capacity to fully receive pleasure. Healing often begins by intentionally prioritizing moments of beauty, safety, sensation, and genuine enjoyment again.
