Ngl the trenches mean a lot to me and I've honestly stepped away because I just can't do it anymore. I think the same can be said for a lot of people. Every major asset has erased the U.S.-Iran war shock. Gold has not. Since the war began, $BTC is up around 21%, the S&P 500 and Nasdaq are hitting new all time highs. Gold spiked as the panic trade, then reversed hard. It is still roughly 13% down from the war high near $5,400 to around $4,695. Fear faded and risk assets recovered but Gold is still trying to catch up.

MY 7 DAYS WITH AN AI AGENT We are in the final hours of the #BitgetAIAgentStrategyTradingComp and the leaderboard is about to lock. Before the dust settles, I want to share what this week actually looked like from inside my Telegram window. Not the prize pool talk, not the agentic era buzz, the real day-by-day story of running GetClaw as my main execution engine. HOW IT STARTED 👇 I came into this week skeptical. I have been hearing AI agent trading talk for months and most of it sounded like signal bots wearing a ChatGPT skin. So I opened Telegram, typed /start, and within seconds a GetClaw subaccount was live. No API setup, no dashboard wiring, no config file. The first thing it asked was if I wanted a daily 8AM PnL report. I said yes, it locked it in with a job ID and confirmed first run was the next morning. That small interaction set the tone for the whole week. This was not going to be a tool I configured, it was going to be a system I talked to. On day two I opened the chat and casually said hi. The agent replied with a callback to the day before, mentioning that I had tried to buy BTC on spot but the account was empty, and asking if I had topped up the balance yet. It also reminded me that my daily report was kicking in the next morning. That was the first time it clicked. This was not a stateless bot. It remembered a failed order from a previous day and brought it up before I even mentioned trading. For anyone who has used trading bots before, that gap between session 1 and session 2 is usually where everything resets. Here, nothing reset. THE DCA LADDER 👇 Mid-week I tested it on a real setup. I dropped one sentence in chat: split 30 USDT into 3 ETH spot buys, one now, one if it drops 1%, one if it drops 2%. A few seconds later, three orders were placed. Market buy filled at $2,319, two limit orders sitting at -1% and -2% waiting. Then it asked if I wanted alerts or stop losses on any of them. I did not touch a chart. I did not write a script. I did not open the Bitget app. I described a DCA plan in one sentence and the agent built the ladder, executed it, and offered the next layer of protection on its own. THE BTC PERP SCALP👇 This is where the experience went from impressive to different. I told it to run a scalp on BTC perp, 100 USDT margin at 5x, +0.4% TP, -0.25% SL, with a 5-minute timer that auto-closes if neither level hits. I added one rule, if BTC was sitting in a tight range under 0.1% movement in the last 15 minutes, flag it before entering. Before placing the trade, the agent ran a full market check. It reported BTC last price, the 15-minute range at 0.17%, taker flow at 1.96 showing aggressive buying, and noted BTC was down 1.1% from the day's UTC open as a slight headwind. It assessed my risk-reward ratio at 1.6:1 as reasonable, but warned the 5-minute window with that volatility level might be tight, and there was a real chance the trade would expire on the timer instead of hitting either level. That was a pre-trade briefing, not just an execution confirmation. The trade opened, BTC barely moved, and the timer auto-closed it at a small loss. The follow-up message was the part that stuck with me. The agent explained that gross PnL was actually positive, but fee drag on a tight scalp at 5x with a 0.4% TP flipped it red. It then suggested widening the TP slightly or increasing position size next time to make the math work better. That was a post-mortem with a parameter fix. Most bots tell you what happened. This one told me why it happened and how to fix it. THE WIN ON ETH 👇 Later in the week I set up a conditional ETH long. I told the agent to watch ETH and only enter if it broke above 2,340 with rising taker flow, with a 50 USDT position at 10x, TP at 2,365, SL at 2,328. Then I closed Telegram and worked on other things. A few hours later the notification fired. Breakout confirmed, taker flow at 1.84, long opened at 2,341.20, TP and SL armed. Twenty minutes later the next message came in. TP hit at 2,365.40, position closed, around +$10.30 on a 50 USDT margin, roughly 20% ROI on the trade. I was not staring at a chart. I was not refreshing a candle. The agent waited for the trigger, executed clean, took profit, and reported back. That is the kind of patience manual trading rarely allows for, because the human in front of the screen always wants to do something. > THE RISK FLAG ON DAY 6 < On day six I told the agent to run the same scalp setup again. Before placing the order, it flagged that taker flow had shifted sell-heavy, with the last 4 periods all below 1.0 and the latest reading at 0.57. It noted longs were swimming against the flow slightly, that it was not a dealbreaker for a quick scalp, but worth knowing. It executed because I had told it to, but it told me the conditions had changed first. The trade closed near flat with a small fee-driven loss. If I had blindly trusted the same setup without that flag, I would not have understood why it underperformed. The agent gave me the answer before the trade even happened. #GetClaw #AITrading WHAT THIS WEEK ACTUALLY PROVED 🤞 I ran small size all week, around 100 USDT moving between spot and futures wallets. The PnL line is not the headline. Some trades won, some closed flat, some lost a few cents to fees. What this week proved is something different. It proved that an AI agent can hold context across sessions, run pre-trade analysis on its own, push back when conditions shift, execute conditional orders patiently, and follow up with parameter suggestions after a close. It proved that natural language can replace half the trading interface I used to rely on. It proved that the gap between idea and execution can collapse into a single sentence. Manual trading has a human ceiling. There is only so long you can stare at charts before fatigue and FOMO start making decisions for you. An agent does not get tired at the $80k resistance, does not revenge trade after a fee-heavy scalp, and does not forget the rules I set last Tuesday. The comp is closing but the bot is still live.
