What did we hear from our consultations on the #CDB from #pwd? This infographic has some highlights. As the disability community prepares to work with govn't on the details of the benefit we hope that this report will inform the work.

I struggle here, Bill C-22 received all party support in its orginal form, it passed through the Senate with amendments to be considered. Any amendments accepted by the Gov, even if a couple would make the already unanimously supported Bill stronger. Why is this not law!!!!!!

In 2012, 36 states listed parental disability as grounds for termination of parental rights. I just finished a state-by-state analysis and found that 36 states still list parental disability as grounds for termination of parental rights! In other words, nothing has changed!
