This is when I learn I have more of a stiff upper lip than I thought. My brother and sister in law are on their way over. We’re not sure how much longer she has left.

Well, everything was fine at 8am when my sister came over & I went to bed. Two hours later & she woke me in tears. My Mom’s breathing has changed & she was writhing in pain. Nurses have given her morphine, one of the carers (who has been here multiple times a day) was in tears.

It really should not take me 12 hours to get from the UK to Austria. I’ve made it to California faster than this.

Since my Mom was released from hospital on 16th February 2026, I have slept on the sofa next to her every night in case she needs anything. Last night was the first time I rolled off and landed on the floor. Thankfully I didn’t wake her, I was confused however.
