🚨 I was almost taken hostage in Cuba... I went to Cuba to document the humanitarian crisis and show life under 60+ years of communism and now amid the US blockade. Once I landed, they seized all my cameras except my iPhone and had intelligence agents following me all day until my security noticed their spies tailing us to the hotel where they waited all night for us to come down. Under communism there is no free speech, and those who show the reality or speak up are imprisoned. Me going without a planned Cuban government guide nearly got me and my security taken hostage or imprisoned. The situation in Cuba is much worse than anyone knows.

⚡️This isn’t just a slap in the face — it’s a spit in the Kremlin’s direction Armenia has signed a strategic partnership declaration with the United Kingdom. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan called it “a new chapter” in relations. The signing took place at the European Political Community summit in Yerevan, which was also attended by Volodymyr Zelensky. Armenia is gradually moving away from dependence on Russia and seeking new allies.
What makes me happy in this really sad situation is that all Russian propagandists are crying over Eastern Armenia becoming more independent from Russian colonialism.

Give the diaspora another couple of decades. They're all going to retvrn and repatriate any day now…or maybe a once-a-decade visit will have to suffice. Meanwhile, the Russian "relocants" have moved in and already learned Armenian within 3-4 years.
