@CleanSpark_Inc has plans to add 400 megawatts in Tennessee. @MerkleStandard's Memphis data center is set up for 45 MW. TVA says it does not "actively recruit" crypto mines. But the mines come for low rates and ample energy.

One crypto mine in @CityKnoxvilleTN accounts for more than 9% of @KnoxKUB's electricity sales. Many such mines are coming to the @TVA's region for affordable rates, as they get regulated in other parts of the world:
