This is what saddens me about the @WNBA the folks who are in charge of marketing the Women’s game, and growing the Women’s game are mentally incompetent. Angel Reese and Paige Bueckers are two of the biggest draws in the entire WNBA. The marketing team gets together, and this is what they come up with to advertise tonight’s game. This would be the equivalent of……..the San Antonio Spurs playing against………the Minnesota Timberwolves, and the NBA’s marketing team releasing game flyers featuring Jaden McDaniels and…..Stephon Castle!!! This crap would never happen in the NBA. Wemby and Ant are guaranteed to be featured in all promotional materials! Why??! They are the biggest draws!! Like…..stop being ignorant man. The game is also only available on League Pass. Paige and Angel should have commanded a national audience! These are two national champions with national fan bases in a match up between two playoff caliber teams! Stop thinking that MAGA Caitlin is the only player in the WNBA who deserves a national audience. Do better! Act like you actually want to succeed long-term Don’t put all of your eggs in one basket. MAGA Caitlin had four injuries last year, and she was injured again on opening night this year. I am just venting, but @WNBA I’m trying to help the cause man. Capitalize upon this moment by showing your OTHER assets to a national audience. You have the world’s attention. Make better decisions…..or you will lose it!
