All drafts are just dungeon and dragons for ball fanatics
Mike@mksystem74

@NFL_DovKleiman But why do people care so much about the draft? 1% of drafted players are there live Team representation is barely there They hate the Commissioner It’s literally a glorified DMV visit

Turn on KNBR, 30 seconds later the perfect game is null. Not saying I had anything to do with it but I'm not not saying I did, either. #SFGiants

Dr. Dawn Wright went 6.8 miles straight down into the Pacific Ocean in July 2022, to a part of the Mariana Trench no human had ever visited. The first thing she saw when she hit the bottom: a green beer bottle. Label still readable. Half-buried in mud, almost 36,000 feet below the surface. That spot is called Challenger Deep. It's the lowest point on Earth. The pressure down there is around 16,000 pounds per square inch, which Wright once compared to the Eiffel Tower balancing on your big toe. A navy submarine can only handle about 3% of that depth before getting crushed. The bottle made it because it was open. Water filled it on the way down and matched the pressure outside. Simple physics kept a piece of trash together at a depth that would flatten a sub. It's far from the only garbage down there. In 2019, explorer Victor Vescovo found a plastic bag and candy wrappers during a separate dive to 35,853 feet. That same year, a study in Royal Society Open Science collected tiny shrimp-like creatures from six of the deepest ocean trenches, including from almost 7 miles down. 72% of them had microplastics (broken-down bits of plastic, smaller than a grain of rice) in their stomachs. A separate Chinese Academy of Sciences study found up to 2,200 microplastic particles per liter of Mariana Trench mud. One liter is roughly the size of a large water bottle. In 2025, researchers published results in Nature from nearly 2,000 ocean sampling spots collected over ten years. Microplastics showed up at every depth, including the Mariana Trench. The researchers called it a "plastic smog" that runs throughout the entire ocean, from the surface to the bottom. Only 27 people have ever been to Challenger Deep, and over 600 have been to space. I keep thinking about that gap. About 11 million tonnes of plastic enter the ocean each year, roughly 2,000 garbage trucks' worth dumped in every single day, and only 1% of it floats. The other 99% sinks. Some of it ends up almost 7 miles down, inside animals that have never seen sunlight, in water so isolated it hasn't circulated back to the surface in about 2,000 years.

🚨: A bottle was found at Challenger Deep, the deepest point on Earth, showing even the ocean’s bottom isn’t safe from human trash

John Lynch said the substation was never a topic during 49ers' free agency. Based on the bargains SF secured, it doesn't seem he's lying. "We did hire an independent scientist and it was basically a big nothing burger. We're safe." Lynch said the scientist tested all areas of the facility and EMF levels came back far lower than any threshold considered dangerous
