The GAA has become a lightning rod and punching bag for their Allianz sponsorship above everyone else and it got seriously out of hand on Saturday It enabled far left activists (many not even GAA members) break into Croke Park, shout in the faces of congress delegates and GAA management and injure security. Why are they not protesting against RTE, funded by our taxes, who are promoting Allianz every Sunday night? Why can’t RTE just break their contract - isn't that the demand of the GAA? Why are the Olympic Federation of Ireland and Paralympics Ireland, sponsored by Allianz, not being protested? If the GAA changed sponsor in 2030 when the contract is up i'd be all for that but expecting them to do it now is not living in the real world

@CelticFC Tbf the only way to ensure you only get the fan behaviour you want is to stick to the strategy thats worked so well up to now and ban all the fans in the disruptive sections

@melcarson13 @Rachel_Lynchx His message caused strife but at core it was charitable, ie love & kindness to our neighbour not personal attacks on them or withholding forgiveness for mistakes made. Listen to intro in this tribute to John Fallon in Philadelphia. streamable.com/0wqwma?src=pla… for the ethos of Celtic.

No politics? At a club like Celtic? The whole reason for Celtics existence was/is political and many would do well to remember this.
Gerrie Pimm@GP1902

@Rachel_Lynchx I’d like them back if they follow the same rules as alllnother fans. No politics and full on Celtic. Then they are an amazing asset.

@Auldheid @Rachel_Lynchx Google is your freind here..Christ challenged the 'establishment' by criticizing the hypocrisy, legalism, and corruption of the authorities and by championing the marginalized over the powerful. Caused a bit of 'strife' with some money lenders as well if memory serves

@Rachel_Lynchx Celtic were founded to help feed the poor by a follower of Christ, an act of kindness. At what point did Christ teach strife? That goes for both sides of the divide. Not a lot of the original purpose of Celtic on show. A house divided is collapsing.

@Auldheid @bhoysviews You're getting further away from reality with each board apologist post. You would have us believe that the CEO is not responsible for club policy but BR was in charge of recruitment, that not replacing Kyogo Idah or Kuhn wasn't the problem but a £25 million player is.

@bhoysviews Why would DD, who is only in it for the money according to popular belief, not take steps to take Celtic back to where the money is? THE CL! When 2 opposing thoughts r held, 1 is kept separate from the other to prevent insanity. The remedy is to think which is the more probable.

@Auldheid If the CEO isn't responsible for company / club policy who is? If the Head of Security isn't responsible for banning fans who is? If the CFO isn't responsible for financial policy who is?

Celtic are a huge community club with a global reach and a not for profit constitution would be more appropriate. However how much "profit" actually leaves the clubs accounts as a PLC and what are pros and cons of such a change?

@Auldheid @PaulJohnDykes Keeping money in the bank to cover losses caused by keeping money in the bank and not buying better players so we can qualify for CL earning £10's millions so we can keep the players that lost us the CL qualification...gotcha

@PaulJohnDykes You do realise that any profit from player trading is added to football earnings under FSR/Squad Cost Ratio and compensates to an extent for the loss of CL income? That in turn means wages on new players can be maintained at existing levels and that the cash in bank means Celtic

It doesn’t matter what Brian Wilson says here, not one person at the club will stand up to someone with a shareholding of 34.7%. The Chief Executive Officer is the chief of nothing at Celtic. He bows at the altar of the moustachioed one and has to seek permission to spend anything above a certain low-bar threshold. We’ve brought in 5 loanees during this window and failed to spend a single penny in transfer fees, making a net profit on transfers this season of circa £13m. Michael Nicholson has presided over failure after failure, but tonight should be his final act. His position, along with Chris McKay’s, is untenable. x.com/Queenmachine88…

@mattyfro1 @Bazzinho9 Tbf they both have played football for a while now and compared to the other more expensive players we have been linked with they look comparatively shite. But as always we will be giving them 100% backing in the hope they are not the next Balikwisha, Inamura, Yamada, Pussey...

If you’re reasonably confident Martin, you’ve not been watching this shitshow repeat every window for years. They’re leading you up the garden path. Experts in ‘trying hard’ and ‘just’ falling short. I’d bet we’ll get one more loan if we’re lucky🤷‍♂️

@Conor1971 @CadetesGhirl Can you name the last manager to 'succeed' in Europe after MON? An 'EPL elite' manager couldn't beat mighty Almaty and got pumped off Dortmund, then theres Athletico Madrid or Bodo Glimt.if only we had money to buy better players to improve our chances of succeeding in Europe...

@CadetesGhirl For what it’s worth, I just believe he won’t succeed. He needs far better players than we currently have which will cost a lot more money than we’ve spent in the past. God help us in Europe if we play like we did today

Nancy loses first four games - “something needs to change.” Nancy wins two games in a row - “nothing is changing.” He’ll never succeed in the eyes of some of our support.
𝗠 😎🍀@cfc1888_

Wilfried Nancy doesn’t do second half’s apparently, every game under him we’ve dropped off in the second half and this now includes bottom of the league Livingston. I’m not seeing enough progress for me, defence still vulnerable & second half’s still write offs. Nothing changing.
