@ATDazzles All for it. Seen so much at the cinema over the years, including shows I took a chance on, that I would never have been able to see in person. So frustrating when shows are constantly London-only. Just not viable for so many of us. Cinema viewings are always packed too!

Earlier this morning Janey passed away in her sleep. Her family were with her.
The love and support from all her friends and fans during this cancer journey brought her enormous joy. It has also been a huge comfort to us, her family and close friends, thank you.

@anon_opin Totally disagree. Improv done well, and there is so much out there of such an incredibly high standard, is the most impressive of the performing arts.

Claire and I had to sit separate once because we couldn’t book two seats in a row of three, as it left a single seat. Phoned the Box Office and the chap just giggled down the phone.
So, we booked two single seats.

Wyndhams Theatre the latest to block me from booking single ticket online; I had to waste time ringing them. Claim is that ‘this leaves a single seat difficult to sell’ but there are loads of people who want to go alone to performances. I think it’s discriminatory. cc @SOLTnews

The woman who admitted she hadn’t bought the item from our shop, but demanded we refund her because we also stocked them. She then asked for petrol money as claimed it wasn’t her fault she had to travel to refund it, and stormed out when refused both.

If you’ve worked in retail, pls could you share some ‘worst customer’ stories? A woman shouted repeatedly at my 17yo today on her second day working at M&S for rolling rather than folding a jumper and made her cry. Exercises in resilience. Humour has (almost) saved the day.

Answered the shop phone and customer didn’t like my answer to his query. He literally asked to speak to the organ grinder, not the monkey. Manager told him the same as I did, also pointed out I’d also worked there longer than him and so knew what I was talking about.
