@thismomloves Absolutely. It's going to cause confusion for parents who are hearing from schools that their child is reading multiple grade levels behind and yet EQAO scores report that their reading is just fine.

@thismomloves Ours were disconnected during our renovation, and I miss it more than I could have imagined. I’m choosing to wear a mask again, and it is so hard to project my voice so that students are able to hear me clearly. So important always, and especially with a second language!

Our classes are all equipped with sound systems that include lapel & handheld mics. I don’t know of research on the use of these in the classroom (please share if you do) but it makes sense that improved sound during lessons would be necessary for some, beneficial for all.
