I regret coming out publicly as trans after 20 years. I literally never get called a man in real life. It happens hundreds of times a day on Twitter now. It affects how I see myself. I did it because I think we will lose everything on this course trans extremists have charted and I felt a duty to speak up. But all that has happened is neurotic undersocialized trans people spend their days screaming at me and so do TERFs. Why did I do this? My life is great. When the trans extremists end up causing HRT bans for adults, I’m old enough to just get HRT because people will just assume I hit menopause. I can literally enjoy a hard won life with a good marriage and a job I love. Yes, It’s tragic that gender dysphoric children will not have access to health care soon because a bunch of lunatic freaks took over the trans movement and WPATH and wrecked our public perception for TikTok clout. But they are the ones driving us off a cliff. Not me. Why do I ALWAYS choose to get in fights that sap my personal happiness and win me nothing?
