is there anything fb hasn't copied from elon?
almost all of the things elon did at x were controversial when they were first implemented, & now they’re the norm.
e.g. paid verification, premium subscription to social networks, even threads, etc.

Microsoft -25.9% in Q1 2026. Besides Meta, it's the only company that hasn't managed to properly integrate AI into its processes.
And apparently, not even Azure can salvage expectations.

Michael Pollan quit caffeine for 3 months… and realized his “normal” self was just caffeinated.
First week: “Felt like I contracted ADD. Couldn’t concentrate, couldn’t write, veil between me and reality.”
Month 1: Functional but miserable.
Month 3: “Slept like a teenager… but I was still a mess.”
First cup back:
“Waves of well-being → euphoria → like cocaine for 20 minutes.”
Then: irritability, compulsive cleaning, unsubscribing from 100 listservs, reorganizing sweaters, plotting the next dose.
Classic addict behavior — even he admits it.
Chronic caffeine lowers adenosine sensitivity (your brain’s sleep-pressure signal). Withdrawal = fog/ADD-like symptoms. Re-dose = euphoric adenosine clearance after 24+ hours of buildup. Baseline becomes caffeinated baseline.
Pollan’s takeaway: “Yourself is caffeinated… and that is baseline for many of us.”
Ever quit caffeine cold turkey?
What hit you hardest — the brain fog, the irritability, the insane euphoria on return, or something else?

No, that’s just the little advanced technology fab, where we will be iterating on chip designs.
We couldn’t possibly fit the Terafab on the GigaTexas campus. It will be far bigger than everything else combined there.
Several locations for Terafab are under consideration. It needs thousands of acres and over 10GW of power at full scale.

Elon clarifies that the Advanced Technology Fab announced last night that will be built at Giga Texas (pic below) is not the Terafab, and that several locations for Terafab are under consideration: "It needs thousands of acres and over 10GW of power at full scale."
