A lot of people seem confused about Jer's decision to shift his show to 9am; it doesn't seem like a good timeslot for anything. But I think people are missing something: there's a logic to it, if you view it through the lens of addiction.
If Jer wakes up at 8:30am and there's a one hour show at 2pm, he has to stay relatively sober for 6.5 hours.
If Jer wakes up at 8:30am and there's a one hour show at 9am, he has to stay relatively sober for 1.5 hours.
To someone who isn't an addict, that difference seems insignificant. To an addict, it's huge.

@aames32 No, but the moment you are warned and decide to go on anyway, you cannot claim you were dragged into the drama by someone else. If you know the risks, you know what's going on and you do it anyway, you are NOT dragged. You decided on your own to be part of the drama.

@melonciraptor And that's a misconception just because someone knows about something doesn't mean they're obligated to interview that person about that topic just because they're on the show. Chrissie made that choice and it was wrong

It's clear that is what single scoop Mel did to Mayr. She used her friendship as a smoke screen and ran when the fire started. And now Mayr is left to deal with the fallout she didn't ask for, that's what happens when you run defense for a snake you get bit.

@aames32 Except people other than Mel spoke to Chrissie Mayr and told her it was a bad idea not just do the stream with Mel, but the magnitude of the drama and how bad it would impact her if she decided to have Mel and not press her hard on the drama. Friends of Mayr, like Nina.

@melonciraptor She was invited as a guest to talk about religion and her conversation to Catholicism, her chat changed the topic, Mel lied to Mayr and told her it was a nothing burger. I'm not saying mayr is innocent she made her choices but you're not being correct with the timeline

@aames32 No, she totally wanted to be in it. She was told several times about the shitshow and not only she agreed to have Mel on and be soft and run cover for her. Mayr is not a victim here, she has profited from this issue a lot, more than anyone on Hambly's side
