Class 10 made the most of the shade given by the trees, the thermometer in the classroom was rapidly rising above 30C!

We did it!! We have been awarded our first green flag award. ⁦Our eco committee are over the moon with the news. We can’t wait to receive our Green flag. All we need now is a flag pole. ⁦@EcoSchools⁩

Our visit to the Tolson Museum helped us to shine a light on the past of our local area. We revisited the Mesolithic, Neolithic periods, the Bronze Age and the Iron Age, up to the time when the Brigantes tribe and the Romans lived here. #melthamhistory #melthambreakout
