@meltmyskin nope! not even close. (/lh) i'm sure 1k cals is under your matinence anyway. you WILL LOSE no matter what as long as you consume matinence or below it, and you recieved the benefits of the fast on top of that.

@meltmyskin No , 1000 is still a deficit and the long fasting period means you burn fat in ketosis

@meltmyskin I always thought of fasts as a thing to help previous stuff rather than next. Like if I think I've gained, I'll fast for a while to 'undo' that and then go back to my usual intake. I often fast for 16-18h and then eat 800 in what's left of the time

me personally, i consider a fast to enter me into a type of super saiyan mode of weight loss. idk if that makes sense.

i KNOW it is a stupid question but like... if i did a 21 hours fast and then ate 1000 calories, the fast was useless?

@meltmyskin It's more of an extra to help with burning fat too. If you want to seriously lose weight from fasting it would have to be a longgg fast.

@meltmyskin no, you're still in a deficit. even if you ate enough calories to 'make up' for the fast, you still burnt whatever your maintenance is the day of the fast and the day you ate

@meltmyskin If you fasted 24 hrs and then ate 1000 cals in one sitting and then more food after then yeah depending on ur daily intake
But if you fasted and then only ate 1000 cals the next day that’s about 500 cals next for both days
