Well Razer is the only company that's handed consumers diverse LOD options.. aside from just Low, Medium, & High. It'd be interesting to get more context from him. As for me, I usually choose Low or High.. with High being my more preferred option. Most people can't tell the differences between, but me? Well.. 😏

Hey @BlurBusters . I was recently testing the polling rate using your website but it seems to bottleneck it to 4k hz. Are there some other ways you recommend testing this? I am not the only person.

@BlurBusters @iamcs2kitchen That means a lot, coming from you. I really appreciate it!😌 I'm honestly surprised at the level of optimization I've been able to achieve, with my pre-built. I've owned it since 2019, and have only upgraded the RAM since.

That said, if you can do 7 KHz in a *browser* running TestUFO, you have a well optimized system! Mouse loop in actual games will oftehn bog down at extreme Hz, and browsers do as well too. So browser mouse loops, while annoyingly suboptimal, is more usefully representative of some real-world mouse loop in some games that are unable to keep up (unlike synthetic optimized C++ mouse benchmarks, which are excellent, but are often better optimized than more than 50% of actual games themselves). TestUFO is still a great way to optimize your mouse Hz insofar as motherboard selection to USB port selection, to CPU performance, and IPC latencies, and more. The combined optimizations helps the mouse Hz go higher in TestUFO. If you managed 7 KHz in TestUFO, you're doing well!

It's a limitation of web browsers. C++ tests will always be more accurate for mouse testing. TestUFO pushes the limitations of web browsers; in a few years they will be able to catch up; but for now the Mouse Jitter test represents a worst-case (e.g. game mouse loops). Some games have worse mouse Hz than TestUFO does (did you know...). It's a matter of mouse loop optimization, and a synthetic C++ poll rate test will often outperform many average games (And the browsers that run TestUFO).

There’s also a minor change in the HUD after today’s update (thanks to @ropz for spotting it). - The HP/Kevlar bar is now positioned slightly closer to the center than before.

At 25600 DPI, High LOD, 144Hz display, & correct in-menu settings.. it was showing nearly 7KHz for me on Blur Busters. So if it's reporting passed 4KHz, then it works for 8KHz. I wouldn't call it inaccurate, but with it reporting the result slow (single value brief change, no min/max).. you can't really have a grasp at what's happening.

@mem_ry @BlurBusters I built one using c++. The blur busters one isn't accurate. I had more than 30 people test it and everyone was less than 4k hz. I also used 6400 dpi and it was the same for me as well whereas the native tool and razer native reported correctly. You can try the website yourself

Whether you agree with the ammo changes or not, there will be conversations created about a players ability to manage their ammo as a resource and 'last mag' calls will enter into clutch moments.

It comes down to the specific web tool & settings (tool & browser) used. Some Polling Rate web testers even report faster visually, so that you're able to confirm quicker. You can even code a simple one yourself, that works.. There's no bottlenecks unless the tool isn't coded efficiently. Blur Busters' current version might be slow in visually reporting, but it works for 8KHz.
