@zoomafrika1 Democratization of Africa must be first before any meaningful union.

@MarkJCarney Prayers and thoughts to all impacted by the collision.
English

The collision involving an Air Canada Express aircraft last night in New York that claimed the lives of the pilot and co-pilot, and injured dozens more, is deeply saddening.
Canadian officials are working closely with their U.S. counterparts on the ground as the investigation continues. My thoughts are with the victims, their families, and all those impacted.

Indonesia

@ThatBoyKhalifax Nime associate Ujamaa iliku highlite the issue.
Nchi zote zilizofuata Ujamaa in a way, vyombo vya Ulinzi na dola vyote hu act in a Dictatorship ya Chama Tawala.
Sisi tunatakiwa tuipasue kama Senegal na Ghana.
Tunaona same issue Venezuela,Cuba,Belarus,Guinea,Mali,n.k

Francis@Sharb84
@ThatBoyKhalifax I agree. Na hata yeye mwenyewe alikiri walifanya makosa. Lkn hatuwezi kataa nchi zote zilizofuata socialism viongozi wake wengi walipindulia au kuuwawa. Nkwame Nkuruma,Sankara,Kaunda,Ben Bella, n.k,n.k Kaunda trade union zilitumiwa kumuondoa. Unaweza ona mazingira.

@MapsAfrican This is impractical, Africa is not ONE, as much as we would like it to be.

@ayubu_madenge Wenzetu USA hawarithishani vyeo, makosa, imani, mtazamo wala hisia. We have a problem.

@Manasseh_Azure CAF is officially the African Electoral Commission.
English

@MightiJamie The president of the African electoral commission has spoken, Morocco wins.
English

The speech by CAF leadership is poor form. It will be shown in public speaking classes as an example of what not to do.
He was rambling, he was not sure of his argument and more over he was not convincing.
He is basically saying the panel which awarded Morocco a boardroom Afcon trophy and reduced punishments for Morocco players and the ball boys have integrity because just because they were nominated by the countries.
How many CAF leaders have sold World Cup votes over the years. How much money has gone missing. How much bad officiating has happened.
You can’t just assert integrity of the people and the process when the public can see inconsistency and shadiness.
The decision is bogus. The speech is bad.

@SolomonMKassa Morocco becomes the first winner of the African Cup of NEGATION.

STOLEN ON PAPER, WON ON THE PITCH! 🇸🇳🦁
I am absolutely speechless. How can #CAF justify stripping Senegal of a trophy that was won through blood, sweat, and tears on the field?
To overturn a result TWO MONTHS after the final whistle because of a 14-minute protest against a questionable VAR decision is not "applying the rules”. It’s a daylight robbery of African football’s integrity.
The Reality: Senegal players returned to the pitch! Morocco missed the penalty! Pape Gueye scored the winner fairly in extra time.
You cannot "forfeit" a match that you stayed to finish and WON. By awarding Morocco a 3-0 "paper victory," CAF has set a dangerous precedent where lawyers have more power than players.
This isn't just an insult to the #TerangaLions; it’s an insult to every fan who believes that matches should be decided by goals, not boardrooms.
History will remember who actually held the trophy in Rabat. They are the lions and they still roar! 🇸🇳

@PreshUnfiltered So Morocco becomes the first winner of the African Cup of NEGATION.

🚨 JUST IN 🗣️: Jamie Carragher on the Africa Cup of Nations final ruling after Senegal national football team were ruled to have forfeited and Morocco national football team awarded a 3–0 win: 🗣️
“Right, hold on a minute… so Senegal win the Africa Cup of Nations final, the crowd’s going wild, the players are lifting the trophy, and everyone’s celebrating and now they’ve been told, ‘No, sorry, Morocco are the winners 3–0!’ Are you having a laugh?
I mean, this is exactly why I said the AFCON isn’t a major tournament. In Europe? In a Champions League final? In a Euros final? This would never, ever happen! You don’t hand out medals one day and then say, ‘Actually, change of plan the other team wins.’ Madness!
And can you imagine the scenes in the dressing room? Senegal players crying, Morocco players confused… who’s holding the trophy now? This is football or is it Monopoly?!
Honestly, it’s a joke. The whole tournament should be about what happens on the pitch, not in some office behind a desk. But no, in AFCON… you can celebrate a trophy today and lose it tomorrow. That’s why I’ve always said it in Europe, this would never fly. Never!” 👀🔥

🚨Didier Drogba on CAF's INSANE Ruling:
"My brothers and sisters in African football… today I speak with a heavy heart.
In January, we all watched Senegal fight with courage and defeat Morocco in a historic final.
It was a night of passion, sacrifice, and pride for the entire continent.
From Dakar to Abidjan, from Lagos to Nairobi — Africa celebrated its champions. 🌍
But now, months later, a decision taken in a boardroom has changed that story.
The Confederation of African Football Appeal Board overturns the result… and suddenly a victory earned on the pitch is taken away.
This is not just about one trophy.
This is about the credibility, the dignity, and the soul of African football.
Yes, rules must exist. Discipline must exist.
But when decisions arrive long after the final whistle, they create doubt, confusion, and pain.
They make the world question our organisation, our seriousness, our unity.
And we know how quickly critics speak.
They will point to moments like this to belittle the Africa Cup of Nations, to call it chaotic, to reduce its greatness.
But Africa is not small.
Africa has produced giants — players who have conquered Europe and inspired millions.
From Samuel Eto'o to Mohamed Salah, from Sadio Mané to Riyad Mahrez.
Our talent is unquestionable.
Our passion is unmatched.
What we need now is leadership that protects the image of our game.
Leadership that builds trust, transparency, and stability for the next generation.
If justice must be sought, then let it be sought — even before the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
But beyond this case, we must look within ourselves and ask:
What future are we building for African football?
Because our fans live for these moments.
Our players give everything for that badge.
We must not allow uncertainty and politics to steal the joy of victory from our people.
Africa deserves respect.
African football deserves strong foundations.
We are giants…
and giants must stand tall together."

@MsigwaPeter In sum you say we should forget our education, evidence based arguments, knowledge, laws, JUSTICE, universal human rights and the likes. We should instead focus on relationships and characteristics of decision makers. What kind of uncivilized country would that be?
English

Bitter truth!
A good lawyer knows the law.
A great lawyer knows the judge by name.
That is the difference between playing the game and understanding how the game is actually played.
Many people think success is about being the smartest person in the room.
But in reality, success is often about knowing the right people in the room.
Rules are written by people.
They are enforced by people.
And sometimes, they are bent by relationships.
While you spend years studying the rulebook,
others spend their time studying the people who decide how those rules are applied.
This isn’t necessarily corruption.
It’s simply the reality of how the world works.
The world runs not only on credentials,
but on relationships.
You can have the perfect argument and still lose,
while someone else can have an average argument and win because of the right connections.
Knowledge gets you in the door.
Relationships help determine the outcome you want.
