@kotahi_rau @them_failure I'm not saying that, but more if you think of it as a narrative ending that doesn't have its own message, and just remember all the lessons from everything before, it's really not that bad imo.

I liked the Chainsaw Man ending. I don't think it was as cheap as a typical dream ending.

@kotahi_rau @them_failure I think if you think of the ending as a narrative/writing tool, you might feel better about it, it's what I'm doing.

@sugarchrollo I think that's the best way to look at it, not treating the ending as the super climax that explains everything, but just and ending to a series from a writing standpoint, while keeping all the lessons that were there from start to end.

Even if I wasn't the biggest fan of this ending, I'm still happy for all the memories this manga gave me. Thank you fujimoto for writing csm, it was fun!! #csm232

@wanderjegson I agree! I personally also think that the ending itself is more meant as a narrative tool rather than as anything important, you still feel the same feelings from all of part 1 and how impactful that is.

My personal philosophy is that it doesn't matter if the ending is bad or not, as long as the rest of the series is good. Even though I didn't like the ending, Chainsaw Man is a really good series, and I recommend it to everyone who's interested in it.

@wanderjegson Firstly,you are entitled to your own opinion, but from my perspective, Chainsaw man was never about having the awesome climax at the end, and that makes it make sense why the ending is just mediocre, you learn your lessons from each arc, so when it ends it doesn't give false hope

Maybe the ending isn't bad and i'm just a stupid person who can't understand anything like themes and such, but from my feelings from reading this series, it just felt like it was a waste of time.
